This is a project of field recordings of different soundscapes from the state of Queretaro, Mexico.
The soundscape has an inherent social implication, due to the nature of the sound material that comes directly from society, from specific places and times; they have referential senses that the listener recognizes without problems, and that can expose the complexity of the world in which we live and that of ourselves.
I have carried out this project with no other pretensions than to locate and register particular sounds of the society in which I live, leaving the door for the sound archive of this work to continue to grow, although knowing that the full sound environment of a time and place can only be used partially.
As an incentive for the conscious listening of our immediate surroundings, I propose the dynamics of downloading the works and go for a walk through different public and private spaces listening to these works. If you have the opportunity to go to the same places where the landscapes were recorded, the implicit historicity of the sounds, the social change inherent in time, will be much more evident.
